The last and greatest of Our Lord's journeys begins with His triumphal entry into Jerusalem. From the final days of His public ministry and the institution of the Holy Eucharist to His Agony in the Garden, Passion, and Death upon Calvary, Sister James Stanislaus leads young readers step by step through the events at the heart of our Redemption.
Of course, this journey does not end at the Cross… The narrative continues through Our Lord’s glorious Resurrection, His appearances to His disciples, His Ascension into Heaven, and the coming of the Holy Ghost.
Completing The Journeys of Jesus, this third volume preserves the language of Scripture while bringing the places and events of the Gospel into a connected narrative. Maps, beautiful black-and-white illustrations after Alexandre Bida (who spent many years studying in the Holy Land), questions for study, and a Biblical glossary help young readers follow and remember the story.
