Enjoy this favorite by Mother Mary Loyola as an audiobook the whole family can listen to together—at home, in the car, or on the go.
The Soldier of Christ is no ordinary preparation for Confirmation. Mother Loyola takes her young listeners on a journey through centuries of military history, from the Crusades to the Crimea and from medieval knighthood to modern warfare, using it all to explain not merely what Confirmation is, but what Confirmation does. The result is an unforgettable course of spiritual “basic training” for the battle within.
Narrator Jan Cramer captures Mother Loyola's lively conversational style and wry sense of humor, bringing to life the voice of a nun who understood boys particularly well—one who organized a remarkably successful boys' brigade, and who was just as eager to sit and talk with the furnace repairman as he worked—always on the lookout for a potential convert!
