In the mid-1950s, songwriter and World War II veteran John Redmond set out to teach children their catechism using catchy contemporary tunes. His efforts resulted in two beloved albums: Seven Songs on the Seven Sacraments with The Ten Commandments Song for Little Children and Twelve Songs on the Apostles' Creed, produced by the Religious Music Guild.
These songs have delighted generations of Catholic children, helping them learn their faith by heart while having fun along the way! The Commandments, the Sacraments, the Works of Mercy, and the Articles of the Creed are all brought to life through memorable melodies that capture the innocence and charm of a bygone era.
While most of these songs have been available on CD and DVD for years, their sheet music has been much harder to find.
